About Ushan Malshika,
Capturing light, feelings & moments and all the things in between people and life.
Ushan Malshika is a Sri Lankan entrepreneur, photographer, and media professional with a passion for creativity and innovation. He began his journey into photography in 2013, cultivating a unique vision that would later grow into a thriving business.
Educated at Vidyartha College, Kandy, where he served as Media President in 2014, he developed strong leadership skills early on. Pursuing higher education at SLIIT, he Studied a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology, specialized in Interactive Media (2016–2020), blending technology with visual storytelling.
In July 2017, he founded Colombo Photobooth, a creative venture that quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach to event experiences. A year later, on October 2, 2018, he established Global Image (Pvt) Ltd, where he currently serves as Founder and Director, steering the company to become a trusted name in professional photography and imaging solutions.
Continuing his vision of expanding creative services, he launched the Global Image Studio and Color Lab on January 13, 2025, further strengthening his brand’s presence in the industry.
